Friday Evening Drop Off:
Saturday Training Schedule:
Sunday Pick Up:
-
Friday: Black training pants or black training shorts (two in one are best with the spandex undershorts so that when you are kicking you don’t share a view of your nether regions to the whole camp. shorts must be minimum mid-thigh in length). A previous May Camp shirt is preferable, any ATA black T-shirt is acceptable, absolutely nothing that is political, profane or goes against ATA values will be permitted. Also no tank tops of any kind, they can easily rip during some aggressive training drills.
Saturday: Same as above except all campers will receive a 2026 May Camp themed shirt.
Sunday: Same as Friday
***Bring 2 pairs of shoes that you could kick in.

Absolutely! The surrounding area is stunning and worth a walk. Don’t stray too far though…because, well, bears and vicious chipmunks.

Great and important question that we take VERY seriously.
Buddy rule: if you leave a group, a buddy MUST come with you. No exceptions.
There is always a 2 deep policy. No adult will be left alone with any child. Ever.
No boys in the girls side of camp and no girls in the boys side of camp for breaks or lights out after training time.
We break out in squads. squads are separated by age. Each squad has a squad leader. The squad leaders sole responsibility is to keep the staff up to date as to where everyone of their squad members. This together with the buddy rule builds a system of redundancy to allow us to never lose a camper.
Frequent camp roll call, about once every 1-2 hours. This is where the whole camp assembles and squad leaders announce the whereabouts of their squad. This is the moment we address an issue before it becomes a problem.
The entire camp follows the same schedule. We follow that schedule to the minute. All staff are required to have the schedule on them at all times along with a cell phone. This minimizes the potential of losing a camper because we will know exactly where their squad is at every moment during camp from the time they check in on Friday to the time we check out on Sunday.
All campers receive a map of the entire Camp Coniston at check in. We encourage the new campers to quickly get to know their surroundings before training starts that night.
There is always Camp Coniston staff present and working during the entire weekend. Help is never far away.
The lake is beautiful but not for swimming. No swimming is allowed.

Any currently enrolled ATA student 12 years and above (must have an active ATA number). Each school owner knows who can go and who is not ready yet. They make the decision. Talk with your instructor if you are interested.
